John Nugent [Taurus People]Only 4% of my Blog is about Jazz, the last time i had a Jazz disc in my Blog was early November last year, somehow i feel that Jazz is slipping away from me, it doesn't feature as high as it should, also buying new Jazz discs to discover is quite a rarity at the moment, this is an album that i've had for a while, but haven't quite connected with it, and yet certainly not poor enough to get rid of and sell either, but today i found myself liking it.
Don't know much about John Nugent, but i take it he's American, in his late forties i believe, this recording was made in 1998, the front cover is interesting enough [photography by Merri Cyr], but i think a solo shot would have worked better.
