Junior Cottonmouth are an English Band formed in 1994, who now call themselves Cottonmouth, their sound is fairly Indie i suppose, with a slight twist of Punk, quite jangly stuff, the lead singer [Paul Breuer] is a bit like Elvis Costello in voice, and i guess early Elvis Costello gives a good idea of what they sound like, they are certainly not famous, i came across them in the old fashioned way, just scouring through second-hand record shops, finding something that vaguely looked interesting, and since it was cheap [i think £1], why not give it a risk / chance?, they're certainly not great, but they're good enough to enjoy very much.
The front cover booklet i guess is somewhat poor, but the back inlay card makes up for it, a colour band shot turned into a monotone purple and white [photo by Anette Aurell], the track listing is in different sizes and shades of orange, they recorded this disc in 1997.
The tracks i liked the best were 1, 6, 8 & 10, i slotted the disc in my disc player on random, and the first track it played was track 10 'Everything She Needs', a nice slab of Rock not unlike Supergrass, a song not so much about lost love, but of unrequited love, the guy is just low on the priorities of the girl in question,
